Major to Host Concealed Carry Seminar
HARRISBURG – Rep. Abby Major (R-Armstrong/Westmoreland) today announced she is hosting a Concealed Carry Seminar on Thursday, April 11.
The event will be held at the West Leechburg Fire Hall, 1116 Gosser St., West Leechburg, from 6-8 p.m.
“Many people have questions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws and the Castle Doctrine,” Major said. “I’m hopeful this event will help provide answers and clarity about firearm owner rights.”
The seminar, led by a representative of Firearms Owners Against Crime, will provide information on state law and a time to ask questions. No concealed carry permits will be offered.
The 60th Legislative District covers Bethel, Burrell, Cadogan, East Franklin, Gilpin, Kiskiminetas, Manor, North Buffalo, Parks, South Bend and South Buffalo townships and Apollo, Applewold, Ford City, Ford Cliff, Freeport, Leechburg, Manorville, North Apollo and West Kittanning boroughs in Armstrong County and Allegheny Township, East Vandergrift, Hyde Park, Vandergrift and West Leechburg boroughs, and part of the city of Lower Burrell in Westmoreland County.
